I ordered a new Ateca FR Sport at the end of Jan and have still not received confirmation from the dealer that SEAT have even acknowledged the order. Having read some of the posts on here I am getting slightly concerned over the dealers estimate of delivery. Could anyone give me an idea of how long it took SEAT from date of order to delivery cause some are saying in the order of 40+ weeks !!
I hate to play the Brexit card, but all manufactures are bracing for a hard Brexit and deliveries getting stuck at the border. If it was me I would find something in stock at the dock.
It may not be that as some engines are in very short supply, the 1.5tsi for example.
I ordered my FR Sport at the end of November and I'm picking mine up on 1st March. I was told it would be approx. 12 weeks from order to collection. The build date was scheduled for the 1st Feb.
I ordered my 1.6tdi dsg xcellence on the 3 of Feb been told it will be starting the build on the 10th of March could anyone tell me how long it takes them to actually build and ship?
placed my order 28 12 18 and was told by sales that it may be as late as mid april, SE Tech1.6TDi Samoa just had an email to say the car is here in the UK at the dealership it even has the reg plates on, I can,t take delivery til 29 march due to existing commitments with my current vehicle
I've had a 1.5 DSG Xcellence Lux in Rodium Grey on order since end of January. Latest estimate is its due to be built in week 13 and not to expect it until April. Quite disappointed as it's my first brand new car.
In progress of placing an order and quoted 22-24 weeks! That is frankly insane. My last car was a factory order 430d and took 10-12 weeks which was an awfully long wait, but half a year?!
Looked into buying an Ibiza/Arona and was quoted a 28 to 30 weeks delivery time (about 8 months). Another dealership quoted similar delivery times. Popped over to the Skoda dealership: Same answer for a similarly equipped Skoda Fabia. E-mailed another Skoda dealership and the answer was 8 months.
Apparently, VWAG has troubles with new WLTP certifications and far fewer engines have received certification than expected.
The reality isn't that bad. I ordered a 1.5 TSI Xcellence at the end of January, and was quoted 22-24 weeks. It has been built this week (confirmed) and the dealer reckons he should have it by the end of the month. That sounds optimistic but would be 9 weeks if true.
I ordered a Seat Ateca fR Sport In Jan 2019. Does anyone know if it comes with a Raised boot floor or not? Got a call from the dealership and they said my car is arriving this coming week.
I spoke to the dealership today, they say SEAT has removed option of raised boot floor from MY19 Ateca models. So, this has to be custom made and dealership has agreed to do it at an extra cost.
Not sure if your answer was aimed at me Vinayvedula but it was handy. Based on your comment i've ordered a boot floor cover. I saw the boot floor in the showroom model ateca and it was like cardboard. Not very impressive. That was a SE model but i assume its the same across.
In the same boat ordered late Jan and had nothing from Seat. Have chased and got the order emailed from dealer as had nothing to show I had actually placed an order. Hoping to hear soon as really need delivery this month.
