Noticed for some reason the one-touch open of the Pana Sunroof stops an inch or so short of fully open, but if you then press the button again it opens all the way, is this a fault or is there some logic to this?
If it's anything like previous cars I've owned, the fully open position has more wind noise. The rationale is you can open it further if you want but it's less refined.
It's too much like hard work to read it. Far easier to ask someone else. The best response to such threads is RTFM. If you are so illiterate that you can't read the manual, buy a skateboard, not an Ateca.

Thanks for the help Flakmunky, and to the other unhelpful member's of the forum I did read the manual but its vague at best.
I found the following bit of information from a VW manual though.
"To open the sunroof to the comfort position, pull back on the sunroof toggle. The comfort position helps to minimize variations in cabin pressure and wind noise.
To open the sunroof completely, pull back on the toggle once again."
