Used to have a Leon Mk3 with a 1.4 TSI. It was ticking like a sewing machine. Have been using a 1.5 Arona for a while and it was doing the same.Completely normal. If you have a chance, listen to newer Skodas , VWs near you - they are making the same noise. Nothing to worry about.

You wont notice any major differences in a regular daily driving- they are both smooth and do what they are supposed to do - change gears.

I get around 37 MPG in summer around town. Over 40 on a long run. In winter it is noticeably less.

How are you measuring your consumption?
As I said I never get even close to the figures you mentioned.
I wonder if you have a newer engine and different technology on it. Mine is from 2018.

Ateca doesnt have a separate pressure sensor. Check all tires and make sure they are within your preferred value.
