I've not noticed any difference in performance or fuel economy between Normal and Eco in my 2.0tdi dsg.
I concur; not much difference at all. So forget about Eco and keep it in Normal. It's a much better experience.

Re: Spare wheel or not

Here is a picture of the boot in my car. 20190714_124233.jpg The boot floor is higher than 2wd variants, but to be honest it has never bothered me. I'd much rather have the improved suspension and traction. Also, just noticed my tyre is a Linglong as well... If you want any more pictures, let me know.

Re: Driving Modes

Mode dial makes a massive difference on my car. I drove it in Eco almost exclusively when I first got it and I never really liked the car. Once I'd run it in properly, I started driving in Normal and Sport and it was a completely different vehicle. Here are my findings, YMMV. Eco - very sluggish and...

Re: Spare wheel or not

@Ianmac - Those two dovetail pieces on the long part lock in to the side pieces... Those dovetails face the rear of the car and then the two side pieces fit over them. 1) Take all pieces out! 2) The long piece's face that is currently sitting against the seat backs should be sitting against the floo...

Re: Navi in Virtual Cockpit

Hi,

Bumping this thread to see if anyone with a newer vehicle has this issue? On 2 occasions now, my virtual cockpit has frozen when trying to switch the map back and I'm trying to get SEAT to fix it...

Thanks,

fM

Re: Satnav going into night mode in daytime

I thought the day/night was a function of the auto headlights AND ambient light levels.

At dusk my headlights can be on but the satnav is still on the day time colours. Then as the light levels fall the satnav will switch to night time colours.

Re: Samsung Phones and wireless charging

My old S9+ and my new S10+ both in an Otterbox Folio case are just about on the limit in terms of the length that will fit in. Both of these phones charged just fine in their cases, but a few mm longer and the back of the case wouldn't sit on the pad due to the lip at the front edge of the tray.

Re: 1.6tdi or 2.tdi?

You can tell if it's regenerating as the Stop/Start will stop working and, when stopped the RPM will sit at 1000 rather than 800. Also, if you stop the engine and get out while its regenerating, the cooling fan will be running very quickly and the car smells hot as if you've been ragging it around.

Re: Rear Assist and Blind Spot Monitor Issue

Sounds like a fault. Mine only deactivate when a trailer is attached.
