Well the fuel consumption is only affected once on full boost which is rare, and it certainly goes a lot better.
As I said, it was a fraction of the price and does 80% of the job.

Re: Windscreen condensation
Make sure recirc is not on first!
Also, try not to get the car too hot inside, as the subsequent cooling will attract condensation. Use the Aircon on eco mode at least, as it dehumidifies. Once defrosted, get the hot air of the screen.
This should at least minimise it...

Re: Button for Driver Assistance System Faulty Warning
The window isn't a problem if it's ok now. It just needed to recalibrate itself.
If the warning doesn't come back for a week or three it's probably ok too. See how it goes. The car has a KAM to remember stored faults, so will be accessible...

Re: Colour choice
Ateca looks pretty good in most strong colours, the Green would be lovely, the Orange too!
all subjective of course...
Mine is metallic white, a bit bland but getting some Martini Racing stripes and graphics for it, which should be nice.

Racechip S (Ateca 2.0TDi 190)
OK, finally arrived, and fitted after a small issue with a bent pin in one of the plugs... Bought from eBay on a special offer at £110, seeming good value for 24bhp more, and cheaper than normal too! Fitting around 10 easy minutes, instrictions were fine, although had to loosen a bracket holding an ...

Re: New car so stressful
I can assure you Motability do NOT pay full prices for the cars. The discounts are absolutely astonishing, and the dealers also lose money on these deals. The end of contract cars are sold via Motobilities website to anybody in the trade who has a credit line, and with all the usual careless damage ...
