Hi Folks

Had my 1.6 TDI SE for almost a month now and have covered just over 700 miles so far. I came to the Ateca from a 1.7 TDI Kia Sportage which I always described a wallowy. The Ateca feel quicker and so much better on the country roads than the Kia and is loads quieter on the motorway. I had to go for a vehicle in stock so couldn't add extras but am keen to pick up a space saver.

Only 2 grumbles are the electronic parking brake (see the faults forum) where it took a stroll in the car park on its own and the tiddly tank. Surprised it's not been mentioned more. 50 litres! the Kia was 64. Light came on the other day complaining i only had 50 miles left and then it only took 38 litres to fill so still had 12 in there. With my current average of 52mpg that's around 100 miles worth.

Guess i'll get used to that.

Obligatory photos as it's a pretty thing.

Yes great colour. And it will take awhile to get used to the fuel issue, but with in tank pumps if they get too low on fuel they have a habit of running dry and breaking up as they use the fuel as lubricant, and blocking your fuel system with bits of broken pump and that's expensive.

looking nice, i have also requested the SE spec in Rhodium grey as a company car but was able to add extra's to come upto budget. spent so long on the Seat configurator clicking away at different options. really pleased with my choice having seen your pics as i was unable to see an SE in the showroom as they all have SE TECH or above. hope you enjoy it and feel free to post more pics as I'm going to be in for a long wait :(

I'm in a similar boat to you Brookes, I have the choice between the SE or the SE Tech as a company car, SE Tech will cost me around £70 trade up a month so not too sure I could afford this already so have been leaning towards a standard SE in Rhodium Grey.

Fabbers as your car is pretty much exactly what I'm after SE in Rhodium Grey feel free to upload a shit ton of pictures to persuade me to get this.

Looking forward to your pics fabbers :) have you experienced any issues with the touchscreen display I.e issues with full link or android auto. Only asking as I have chosen the SE minus the sat nav extra as im planning to link my phone and use google maps. I have played with the interface on a SE TECH which was seamless but wasn't sure if this would change with lower spec touchscreen. Was told by my fleet today that the order is going through so will start counting down the months along with everyone else :(
