I'm not into the idea of saying "X is a young person's car" and "Y is an old person's car", but I'm intrigued to see the spread of ages for those who have Seat Atecas or who have ordered one. Apologies if someone has already done this but I've not seen it anywhere.

It's interesting. I've already admitted I'm in my 60's. I come from a Yeti. Their forum did a survey which showed it is an older person's car. I suspect that the Ateca profile is due to their being late to the SUV party and attracing a lot of existing SEAT owners who (I think) tend to be younger.

Interesting to see a widespread mix of ages on the poll so far, with most being in 40s then 30s.

Yeah, mid-thirties here. But the lumping around the 30s-40s bracket would put it squarely in the small SUV (aka practical family car) bracket, which is about right. Would fit with Seat marketing too.

It was explained to me that essentially VW set 'the standard', Audi the luxury segment, Skoda the cost-efficient and practical segment, and Seat the young/sporty segment of the car market.

:) :)
Well I'm in my 50s and my son (in his 20s) has a second hand Volvo. Who's the old man now then? ;)

Bumping this back up because there have been many new members since posting and quite a few asking about ages. I know there is another thread where people post their age, but seeing it as percentages (and with anonymous voting) is interesting too.
