Should be quite straightforward to remove the glass and replace the cover external to the car.
More complicated (and expensive) would be replacing the whole mirror which would require door card removal

What about the internal parts? Reckon they could be replaced without replacing the whole structure/removing the door card?(/quote)

Q1. I don't know, but looking at the drawings it's possible, I thought you stated all the internals were intact
Q2. It's a feature of the car, which can be turned on/off using the Infotainment Unit
