Well, my seat began to squeak. I'm a 5-f-10, 165 lb guy for the last 20 years.

The leons had a similar issue where the perspex in front of the dials wasn't screwed in properly and rattled under low revs.

Next time you're in the car press your finger on the perspex and see if you still get the ratttle.

Might be the same issue.

Mine goes in tomorrow for 48 hours, hopefully they can resolve the issue in that time.

Dropped car off this am. Due an update tomorrow, on a side note - £2500 excess at Listers or £12 per day cost to the consumer, is it me or is that expensive.

Not sure on the excess but I was asked for £10 at a VW garage back in 2009.

Just had a call back from the dealership. So the good news is that they believe they have located the rattle - in fact there were two.

One coming from the instrument panel, which needed some packing. The second was a screw that hadn't been tightened properly in the steering column which eventually came free. The resulting movement has meant some cosmetic damage (I can only assume to the plastic trim) so they have ordered a new part under warranty ETA 3 - 4 weeks.

Fingers crossed thats the issue resolved.

Mine was with my dealer for 4 days last week for various warranty related issues including a bad rattle around the drivers side.

I am pleased to confirm that they have managed to fix it! :D It was something to do with bolts on the drivers knee airbag!

Yup mine is going in tomorrow for the same annoying rattle. Mine seems to be coming from both driver and passenger windows/doors, as soon as you get above 20mph it gets louder and louder. It stops if you press against the door so not sure if something is loose inside

The first time I closed the door at the dealership something fell inside the door. I got to know later it was some clip. Might be same thing
