No luck in solving it, have been to the main dealer twice but they don't have a solution.

They've logged the problem with Seats technology department and I have to put up with it until they get back.

That was a month ago, problem persists.

Not great for a new car.

If you haven't already, I'd go into menu > settings and select factory reset to put everything back to defaults.
You can reset individual aspects, but I'd personally reset everything to get back to the factory setting baseline.
I'd then just connect the phone over blue tooth and see how that goes and not worry about full link for the time being...see how that goes.

I have the exact same problem. When it happens - typically after the car has been turned of over the night I cant launch Navigation nor open the Car settings and Bluetooth wont work. If i fully restart the infortainment system by keeping the power button pressed for 10 secs, it works just fine again. 1 month old Ateca..

Same problem it seems. Must try holding the power button.

I had the car in with the dealer this morning to look at a couple of things and the line I'm getting is that they can't detect any issues but that iOS 12.1 is the latest version SEAT have officially tested against their own system and my phone has been on iOS 12.3 and 12.4 since I've had the car so there could be issues coming from the phone side of things. I showed them a video recording of the issue happening in my car and pointed out that the built-in SatNav doesn't work either when there's a Bluetooth/Full Link connectivity issue so it should have nothing to do with the phone but they can't explain it. At least the long power button press reboot sorts it.

Same exact issue I'm having, really appreciate the advice on long hold with the power button, Seat dealer didn't know about that.
Wait and see I suppose.

Upgrade to iOS 13, that might fix it. I never had a problem with iOS 12 and iOS 13 works fine. Also there are some big improvements to Carplay .

I'm using a Samsung S8, the problem exists regardless of which phone is connected. Happens with both iOS and Android.

Had my car just over a week and am experiencing the same issues. My dealer says the factory are aware and they are awaiting a software update to fix these glitches. Very annoying but trying to be patient as otherwise I love the car.
