TSR as the name implies is the additional feature to recognise actual traffic signs on the road. It is additional feature to Car Navigation.

You don't have to have TSR to display and warn about speed limits.
Each nav database contains speed limits but as many noticed - they could be wrong.

TSR is an additional feature which reads the actual signs and overrides db value.

Any wrongly displayed value comes from DB.
It never happened to me that I saw the sign 60 but my car shower 70.

According to Seat UK customer service on my Xcelence Lux TSR is not fitted. Why they could not explain. Yes do get signs in sat nav but cannot display in instrument cluster. Yes if I get a dodah thingy I can enable it. Makes you wonder why they removed it when EU wants to pass a law all cars have it. Having had one in my Mazda you get the mismatch with nav and signs and if this is connected as they suggest to the throttle cars will be slowing and speeding up erratically. Something to look forward to.
