Very very subtle, so apart from the snout it's going to come down to handling, kit and prices.

From the side profile the Karoq looks better, the back quarter lights are much neater and make the car look bigger.

Not a fan of the normal Skoda grill or the badge mind you.

The Skoda looks nice. Prefer the front and back of the Ateca though.
VAG did a nice job on both cars 👍

Assume that the ride will be all mushy on the Skoda so that the Ateca remains the better sporty choice?

A Tiguan in R-line trim looks quite nice I must admit. A bit too expensive for me

Have to disagree. Hadn't it been an extra 10k to spec the tiguan up, I would have went for that hands down. Looks more muscly on the road. I also didn't have any petrol option for the Tiguan in Malta

Agree on both counts, plus there's the more conventional wing mirror placement on the Skoda. It'll be interesting what they do with the Sportline and other versions. Skoda have managed to make the Superb look sporty with black bits and perhaps it'll open up wheel choice too.

Like the subtle uplift in darkened love section of the rear valance.

I would have gone with Skoda - if am right is smaller and likely to be cheaper?
