I was given the information from my salesman, who is keeping me up to date. He last said the build date is unchanged. He told me that dealers can proactively check on their internal systems, which is what he does.

It sounds like your dealer may need a small prompt. I think the factory is geared up to individual builds so here's hoping you have the same or earlier build week.

Good news received today that my build week is confirmed as week 45 2/10 and should be here early December. Bad thing is Czecs are going into lockdown this weekend but looks like only shops ect shutting and they are still allowed to go to work

placed an order for a Cupra Ateca end of last month. checked with dealer and customer services and it seems factory still hasnt accepted the order and hence no build week. Wondering if this is unusual? Customer services mentioned there are no delays at the factory as such

What happens if it arrives after brexit? Are you liable for the extra tax if the dealer/ manufacturer hasn’t confirmed what they will do.
Would like to think our government wouldn’t apply the tax to
Vehicles already ordered

I contacted SEAT regarding this. I was told customers would not be liable, SEAT would pay any tariff. I suspect prices will rise, but if you have ordered a car and paid a deposit then I would imagine you have a contracted price.

Called cupra helpline again to see why order not yet accepted for my Cupra Ateca. They seem to suggest some unforeseen delays at the factory due to covid etc.. not sure if anyone else experiencing the same with their order?

Sagar, where is the Cupra Ateca built? My dealer has not heard about any delays with respect to the Czech factory for SEAT Atecas. My build is still scheduled for week 46.

It's built at the Czech factory alongside the SEAT versions.

The Tarraco is built in Germany and the Cupra Formentor is built in Barcelona.

My showroom is closing at the end of Wednesday for the lockdown. My salesman will not be able to provide updates during that period, but said he knows of no change to my build week.

We ordered our Ateca on 8th October and the delivery will be on 29th of January. Very long wait but we know it's worth it. Very excited!
