I've made an order on 29May and as oy yet not even a beep from the dealer
(12 weeks this week)
Estimated delivery is second week of September
That was the day before I ordered mine.
I would contact your dealer for an update if I was you.
I was told upon order that it would be "28th August delivery" so I asked them to hang-fire with registration for a few days to ensure it was the new reg plate.
I was told that Seat UK insist on customers being phoned with order updates every two weeks! I agreed that monthly was OK, provided there were no updates for me. They called after the first month to tell me things were on-track (and I asked loads of questions about the MY20 changes and 1.5tsi issues which they couldn't answer), but then heard absolutely nothing the second month.
Only when I contacted them did I find out about the two week delay (now being built 2nd Sept so needn't have worried about it being a 69-reg after all!).
I also dropped in a question (despite already knowing the answer) about whether the colour had changed from Black Magic to Crystal Black. They admitted it had. Surely it should be a priority that dealers phone customers to tell them about specification changes compared to what they've ordered - I realise I may not be able to tell the difference with my eyes with the colour, but it should still be something dealers do. Their systems should just provide them with a list automatically; it can't be that hard.
I just get the impression they need some sort of post-sale person in each office to do that sort of thing as the salespeople themsevles have no idea of these sorts of details.
I am just hoping it doesn't get delayed again as I am not the most patient individual (as you can probably tell).
