New Cupra Collected

Post by AntAusten » Sun Mar 22, 2020 9:06 am

Morning Everyone,

Thought I would just say hi, I collected my new Cupra friday, slightly different from the Focus ST3 estate I had. But loving the car already.
Thankfully I arrived at the dealership to find that had put the wrong plates on the car so I didn't have to block out the registration for the photos.

Had a 200 mile drive to collect so enjoyed the drive back and coming through the tolls tried the Cupra mode, WOW!

Just need to hard wire my dash cam in now.

Anthony

Beautiful.
Would love a cupra but they are very expensive over here.

Lovely looking car Ant. I have had my Cupra just over a year and it has just had its first service. I have also had the winter wheels and tyres removed for the summer(?) if we have any. I did find them useful, even though the winter was mild. They just felt more planted in the cold and wet than the standard PZeros.

I love the car and I am sure you will feel the same. No faults to date.

I am yet to see another Cupra on the road anywhere in the UK and that is after 7,500 miles.

Enjoy, unless driving is banned because of the wretched virus!

Sorry, I meant to say no faults apart from the rubbish windscreen wipers. They were really awful, so I replaced them with Bosch ones which are so much better. The cost was less than driving to the nearest dealer to request a replacement.

Poor wipers has been a common issue with the VW group generally, I believe.

I had several rear wipers on my Tiguan under warranty. Terrible juddery and noisy. Cure was a really good clean with acetone . Thankfully at present no problem with my Ateca.
