Replacement keys

I have been quoted £260 + programming for a replacement key for an ateca, does anyone else think this is ridiculous?

I paid this for our Ford Kuga about 4 years ago!! (And then found them a week later :oops: - after searching for them for 3 weeks prior!) - was gob smacked at the price!

Dealer prices for replacement keys are always high - I was quoted £100+ for keys for my old Vectra, and there's bugger all in those.
That's why I took up the offer of key insurance ...

Under "key" as I seem to be a lots of specialists but these might be for older vehicles.

Go to a local locksmith who can provide car keys. I got one for a Seat Leon for £80
Xcellence 2.0 tdi 4drive, 19" performance alloys, Black Magic, wiggly foot, top cam, park assist, ceramic coat.
