Torque pro app on infotainment system

Post by funkyirishman » Mon Jul 09, 2018 5:29 am

Okay travelling around uk and speed cameras and variable speed limits wrecking my head. Have not used cruise control or waze. Currently using Google maps as finding it better.

However trying an app called Torque pro from the Google play store ... s&hl=en_GB

To get this to work also using obd2 plug in from the below ... e-t3657805

Been working with the developer but can't connect to the infotainment system.

Anyone tried this or anything i should know from car perspective I can check?

Waze is much better at speed alerts

ACC is the best way to deal with fixed limits (don't forget to add 10%+2 to the real sped not indicated speed (Waze will give you this).

Tom Tom speed cameras used to have a very useful function (reading your live average speed through average speed cameras). It was very useful but has been deprecated in later releases I would love an app with similar functionality.
