Happened to me twice. Each time it lasted for a few minutes. On one occasion it cured itself spontaneously, the other time after I had restarted the engine.

Got a new ATECA FR SPORT MY20. The digital dashboard has failed. Anyone had this before? I have no idea of what speed I’m doing.

Had my car 6 weeks (2.0 TSI excellence Lux) .after 1 week the infotainment wouldn't start no sat nav no phone and no android auto. Next time I started it ,it worked so its been intermittent .told them about it so they took it in for 5 days found nothing and gave it me back as they couldn't find the fault coz it worked normally every time they started it. I drove it home went out later and it had stopped working. Not sure what to do now

Hold in the on/off button for 10 seconds, which reboots the system. I've had to do it twice and the solution is common to all Volkswagen brands.

On my recently deceased 2018 Tiguan the central touchscreen and the AID Not the digital dials though, would turn off and come back alive after 10 seconds. I was going to get dealer to look at it !

I Have reset the system dozens of times and it is still intermittently going off. I have booked it in for 3rd feb and told them I don't want it back till they have it fixed. Its atrocious to have faults on brand new cars for this length of time.. 3months its been going on. I said they should fit a complete new infotainment system if that what it takes.

I had this once when I tired to turn it on before starting the engine. It showed the S screen and went blank. Did not response when I started the engine. Came back to normal when I stopped it and started again. Never had it since.

I also have this intermittently. The screen goes black and then pixelates randomly. It even happened whilst I was at the Seat garage (I was about to drive away after being told they couldn't find the fault). Even though the mechanic came out to the car and witnessed it, they still said they didn't have a solution for it and they would log it. Doesn't look like there will be a fix anytime soon.
