All Season tyres for 19s

Post by ChillCupra » Sat Nov 09, 2019 2:48 pm

Just got Bridgestone weather control A005 for my FR. Seem decent so far. No impact to fuel economy and performance as good as the Potenzas. There is a very limited choice for my size of wheel. These were £166 a tyre off black circles. Don’t seem the point in summer tyres anymore and my is 4Drive.

Hi ChillCupra,

How do they compare with the original tyres for nose and ride firmness ?. Mines has original 19's Pirelli P0 still at moment

thanks

Seems pretty much the same. Grip is great in wet conditions. Don’t see the point in summer tyres anymore. Just need some snow now to test them with 4Drive.

Due to the absence of summer in the UK I can see your point 😄😄

I have just taken delivery of my winter tyres. I have gone for Pirelli SottoZero 3 245 40 R19 which are the same size as fitted to my Cupra Ateca. Will be fitted on 29th November. I was thinking of winter wheels as well, but the package then gets too expensive.

Will report on how they compare to the P Zeros when they are fitted.

My wife's Nissan Juke has always used winter wheels and tyres and the have made a real difference in bad conditions.
