Remap 2.0Tsi

Post by Corvus » Sat Dec 28, 2019 9:50 pm

In august they finaly cracked the Bosch MG1 ecu and reviling the true potesial of this engine!
Have enyone done a remap?
In the begining of my experience of this engine (exatly 1 year ago) I was pleased with the preformance, but the I start notice the lack of power on overtake (or when you need power) It was not there. Only avileble low/some register...

Have an Exeo 2.0tdi remaped from BSR Sweden 143@192. This unleashed the beast with rigth torq and power thru the whole register.

Now BSR have a upgrade 190@282HK / 320@431NM that I'm going for... order now, but first the car is having service in februari.
I have DSG and this upgrade include repogramming of the unit to withstand the torq.
Maybe a Fox Duplex is in order too!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not supprised given its the EA888 engine used in the Cupra and Golf R. Both capable of that remap on stage 1, I know as I had a Cupra kicking that out.

Hi Iv'e had my 2.0Tsi MG1 remapped and the drivability map on the DSG its now giving out 263.8 bhp and i think 440 torque much better to drive now ;) although i want to go for the stage 2 DSG remap next. I believe there are a few differences in our engines than the Cupra and Golf R so we won't be making there sort of power.
